Applications are now open for the Swiss Peacebuilding Training Course (SPTC) 2026, an intensive professional learning programme designed to strengthen the capacity of peacebuilders working in increasingly complex global contexts.

Organized with support from the Swiss Government, the programme offers a practical and reflective learning environment focused on preparing professionals for field missions and peace operations operating under conditions of instability, conflict, and rapid geopolitical change.

About the Programme

The 27th edition of the training explores how peacebuilding practices are evolving amid global disruption, prolonged conflicts, democratic pressures, and shifting power dynamics.

Participants engage in a combination of conceptual learning and hands-on exercises aimed at improving operational effectiveness in fragile and high-risk environments. The course emphasizes inclusive and adaptive approaches to peacebuilding that connect governance, security, development, and social cohesion.
