Submissions for the Global Essay Competition, which will qualify participants for the 54th St. Gallen Symposium, are now open.

Participation Requirements

To enter, submit an original, compelling essay that creatively addresses the competition’s topic. Your work should be distinct, thought-provoking, and forward-looking.

Essay Format:

•Type: Individual essays only (no group submissions).

•Length: Maximum 2,100 words, excluding references, footnotes, and the abstract.

•Language: English.

•Deadline: February 1, 2025, 11:59 p.m. (UTC-12).

Submission Rules:

•Do not include your name, email, university, or any identifiable information in the essay document, filename, or metadata.

•Cite all sources accurately, with proper referencing in the text and bibliography. Essays will undergo plagiarism checks.

•List all tools or services used (such as AI, proofreading, or translation) in a separate auxiliary aids directory.
