The Taiwan Alliance in International Development (Taiwan AID) is extending an invitation to committed professionals working in non-governmental organizations across South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Pacific Islands, and parts of Northeast Asia. This opportunity is designed for individuals who are deeply invested in creating meaningful change within their communities and contributing to social progress through their work.

Participants in this program will engage in a variety of enriching experiences. These include working alongside established Taiwanese NGOs in areas that align with their field of expertise, joining in dynamic learning sessions and workshops, and forming connections with fellow practitioners and seasoned experts in the nonprofit sector from Taiwan. The program fosters an environment for cultural exchange, professional development, and collaborative learning.

All essential costs related to the program—including airfare, accommodation, daily meals, and local transportation—will be fully funded by Taiwan AID. The initiative is scheduled to run from October 13 to November 7, 2025.

Eligible applicants must be between the ages of 25 and 40 and actively involved in nonprofit work in sectors such as community engagement, environmental sustainability, education, gender equity, social justice, human rights advocacy, digital media, public health, or social services. Proficiency in English is required for participation, while the ability to communicate in Mandarin will be considered a valuable asset. The call is open to citizens from various countries across Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Pacific Islands, and select Northeast Asian nations.
