Ready to take part in the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) in Taiwan in 2024? Internet governance in the Asia Pacific area may be advanced by participating in regional conversations and exchanging perspectives, which is made possible by the 2024 APrIGF Fellowship in Taiwan. This conference, which aims to increase awareness of internet governance issues, is the first of its kind to be held in Asia. Furthermore, the purpose of this fully financed conference in Taiwan is to create effective policies and encourage discussion among participants.

Drawing from the multi-stakeholder framework, APrIGF places a strong emphasis on the contributions made by individuals with varying backgrounds. The effectiveness of constructive conversation building to support global Internet development and sustainability, stability, security, and robustness is the focal point of this opportunity to visit Taiwan. You will be able to observe how Taiwanese place a strong emphasis on interpersonal relationships, education, family, and ethics in addition to the many advantages.

The goal of this international meeting in Asia is to promote information exchange and cross-border cooperation in addressing internet-related problems. creating local policies as a result to improve outcomes across the board. We are grateful that the underrepresented Asian populations were able to attend the hybrid conference in Taipei and gain a better grasp of the increasing internet concerns in the Asia-Pacific area. The fellows will also get the opportunity to increase their social network with colleagues in other Internet governance domains.

Fellows who can demonstrate representation from various economies, genders, academia, civil society, government/IGO, private sector, and technical components are required for the supported fellowship in Asia. The Fellowship Committee will make the decision of who should receive a full fellowship or a partial fellowship.
