_Apply for a Fully-Funded Postgraduate Scholarship at the University of Cambridge_
The Gates Cambridge Scholarship Programme, established in 2000 with a generous donation of $210 million from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, is now accepting applications for the 2025/2026 academic year. This prestigious program has already awarded over 2,000 scholarships to exceptional students from more than 100 countries.
_Eligibility Criteria_
To be considered, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of a country outside the United Kingdom
- Be applying for a postgraduate degree at the University of Cambridge in any subject
- Meet the admission requirements for their chosen course
_Available Scholarships_
Approximately 80 full-cost scholarships will be awarded annually, with around two-thirds allocated to PhD students. The scholarships will be divided into two rounds: the US round (25 awards) and the International round (55 awards).

A Gates Cambridge Scholarship covers the entire cost of studying at Cambridge, including:

- Maintenance allowance (£21,000 for 12 months)
