Are you an enthusiastic Indigenous youth advocate from North, Central, or South America working to promote Indigenous rights and protect the environment in your community? If so, Incomindios invites you to seize a transformative chance to participate in the 2025 United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII) in New York!

Since 2019, Incomindios has been proud to empower young Indigenous leaders by fully covering the costs of their travel and accommodation in New York. Take this opportunity to amplify your cause and ensure Indigenous perspectives are represented on the global stage at the 2025 UNPFII.

To qualify for this program, applicants must:

•Be aged 18–30 and belong to an Indigenous community in North, Central, or South America.

•Show a strong commitment to advocating for Indigenous rights and environmental protection in their region.

•Have a proven history of activism and involvement in community initiatives.

•Submit their application before December 5, 2024.

Selected participants will not only attend the UNPFII but will also:

•Take an active role in shaping international discussions, providing valuable insights to advance strategies on Indigenous rights and environmental issues.

•Build connections with a network of driven Indigenous youth advocates from across the globe.

•Join the Global Youth Caucus, collaborating with peers to amplify your voice and impact.

•Establish meaningful relationships with key Indigenous representatives within the UN system.

This experience also offers a rare chance to exchange ideas, learn from others, and form lasting connections with fellow activists working toward shared goals.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this opportunity, applicants must be Indigenous youth aged 18 to 30, representing a community in North, Central, or South America. A demonstrated history of activism, leadership, and community engagement is essential to qualify.
