Fully Funded to UK & Germany : Apply for the Goethe-Institut Exchange2Change Program 2024

A programme called "Exchange2Change" is available to young people who reside in Germany and the UK and who are between the ages of 14 and 17 during the exchange phase. During their stays in Berlin and London, exchangers work together in a group to construct a creative project that is partially completed virtually. The exchange will involve an invitation for successful applicants to stay in specific lodgings, typically hotels. The Goethe-Institut Friends of the United Kingdom and the educational programme GIMAGINE have fully funded the exchange's expenses. In order to make the exchange double as a professional internship, participants receive insight into artistic professional sectors through workshops on project-related subjects.

Young people in the UK and Germany, ages 14 to 17, can participate in the Exchange2Change programme. Together, the participants work on a collaborative art project, first online and then in person. In July 2024, there is a preparatory phase where participants engage in language classes and get to know one another. In September 2024, participants in the exchange work on their projects, attend workshops, and record their experiences in Berlin and London. Participants can present the outcomes of their project and get a work experience certificate from the Goethe-Institut after returning home.

Don't miss out on the application deadline which is April 21st, 2024.
