Applications for the Elinor Ostrom Fellowship at the George Mason University Mercatus Centre are now being accepted from worldwide Ph.D. candidates for 2024. Ph.D. candidates from any university and field, including economics, philosophy, political science, and sociology, are eligible to apply for this esteemed one-year fellowship.

With the goal of equipping students with the skills needed for scholarly research in these fields, this competitive fellowship seeks to introduce students to the complex issues of markets, culture, morality, and sociality within the Austrian, Virginia, and Bloomington schools of political economy.

About Mercatus Center:

A cover letter detailing the graduate school history, research interests, and the advantages of comprehending particular issues, a current CV or résumé, and short answer questions are among the essential documents.

Eligibility Criteria
enrolled in a doctoral programme in any field and at any university.Students who are strongly urged to apply are:
enrolled in a PhD programme with accreditation for the following academic year.
Able to dedicate three weekends to travel for colloquia in the upcoming school year.
Candidates should be interested in markets, culture, morals, and sociality as areas for research or teaching.
