The Commonwealth Gender and Sexuality Fellowships 2023/2024 are now accepting applications until August 16, 2023. These fellowships are designed for mid-career professionals from low-and-middle income Commonwealth countries. They offer an opportunity to spend time at a UK host organization, engaging in professional development within their sector. The fellowship aims to enhance knowledge, skills, and catalytic effects in the workplace.

Financial assistance includes an approved return airfare, visa application fee reimbursement, monthly stipend, arrival allowance, travel allowance for event attendance, and support for short courses/conferences. Additional financial aid is available for fellows with disabilities. Eligible candidates must be citizens of or have refugee status in an eligible Commonwealth country, be permanently resident there, possess relevant work experience, and maintain current employment at an organization they'll return to after the fellowship. References are required, and applicants should not have participated in a Commonwealth Professional Fellowship in the past five years. The fellowship cannot be used for academic research or study programs. Successful applicants must be available for the prescribed fellowship dates.
