The Female Talents in Construction (FTC) Project is pleased to announce the opening of its second cohort, which is being led by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in association with Invest for Jobs.

Through targeted education and certification, this programme seeks to empower women working in the construction sector.

Program Benefits

Enhancement of Skills: Obtain a German C-Certification and expand your practical knowledge.
Opportunities for Employment: Take advantage of the opportunity to work directly for participating companies.
Development of Soft Skills: Acquire the soft skills required to counteract negative preconceptions about women in the TVET industry.
Extensive Instruction: Partake in a rigorous three-month course that consists of two months of hands-on training and one month of theory.

Eligibility Criteria

Education: Must be a practitioner in any of the following trade areas: carpentry, plumbing, electrical engineering, upholstery and furnishing, welding and fabrication, and heavy-duty equipment operation; or a graduate of a TVET institution.
Age Requirement: Must be in the 15–35 age range.
Location: Must be a resident of Ghana's Greater Accra Region.
Literacy: The ability to write and read is a must.
