FUNDED TO BRAZIL : Apply for the Fifth Global Climate and SDG Synergy Conference
The Fifth Global Conference on Strengthening Synergies between the Paris Agreement on Climate Change and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, co-convened by UNDESA and UNFCCC, will take place on September 5 and 6, 2024, at the Museum of Tomorrow (Museu do Amanhã) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
World leaders and experts will convene at the Fifth Global Conference to explore the interrelationships between climate change and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), provide research and case studies, and emphasise fair transition routes.
In order to improve awareness and action on climate and SDG concerns, it seeks to foster new collaborations, encourage inclusive public engagement, especially from Latin America and the Caribbean, and provide opportunities for capacity-building.
It is free to participate. However, participants will be solely responsible for making all travel, lodging, and visa arrangements. If you require a visa in order to enter Brazil, please apply as far in advance as possible.
