While many individuals are still searching for their purpose, kanthari is designed for those who have already committed to creating a difference-making organization. Our comprehensive, 12-month scholarship-based program equips participants with the essential skills to effectively manage and grow non-profits, social enterprises, and socially responsible ventures.
Benefits of the program include:
- A fully-funded scholarship covering tuition and accommodation, generously provided by our donors
- Access to a global network of change-makers spanning over 50 countries
- A 12-month program comprising online and on-campus components
- A 6-week online foundation course starting in April, followed by a 7-month on-campus intensive training beginning in May
- Post-training support through a 3-month mentorship program with a local kanthari alumnus
- Official recognition as a kanthari graduate upon successful completion of the program

Additional Information
- Have a concept for a social or environmental initiative that aims to drive positive change and impact in your community, or be currently leading a venture and seeking additional expertise and resources
- Be at least 22 years old (no upper age limit applies)
- Possess intermediate English language skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Have basic computer skills
- Demonstrate flexibility, a willingness to learn and adapt, creativity, and intrinsic motivation
- Show high energy levels, motivation, and a sense of ownership
Additionally, applicants with physical or visual impairments must:
- Possess independent mobility and daily living skills
- Note that attendants for wheelchair users may be accepted in exceptional circumstances, but their stay will not be covered by the scholarship
- Blind or partially sighted individuals must have excellent mobility skills, be proficient in using a white cane, and be able to independently use a computer with speech synthesizer or Braille display
