This two-day event, scheduled for October 7-8, 2024, in Kampala, Uganda, will facilitate a dynamic exchange of ideas, collaborative partnerships, and actionable strategies among diverse stakeholders.
Through interactive discussions and expert insights, participants will address Africa-specific climate change impacts, develop effective adaptation measures, and showcase innovative solutions. The conference will bring together development practitioners, environmentalists, civil society organizations, private sector representatives, academics, indigenous groups, women, policymakers, experts, and media professionals to co-create sustainable solutions that balance green initiatives with economic growth.
With a focus on adaptation and climate finance policies, the conference theme "Actionable Knowledge for a Climate-Resilient Africa" will guide the exploration of practical solutions. Interested organizations and stakeholders outside Uganda can register or nominate up to five delegates to attend the conference by completing the provided form.
