The AYuTe Africa Challenge provides financial grants to young, bright agritech entrepreneurs in Africa who are reimagining farming and food production on the continent via the use of technology. Compete for a portion of the UGX 112,000,000 in grants for agritech.
AYuTe Africa Challenge Uganda – 2024
Greater than ever, the AYuTe Africa Challenge Uganda is returning! We're pushing the boundaries of innovation this year. Presenting the third season of the AYuTe Africa Challenge Uganda, a forum for youthful agritech brains to present their ground-breaking, inventive solutions meant to revolutionise agriculture and empower smallholder farmers throughout Africa.
Our goal is to find and fund tech-driven agricultural solutions that can address issues that smallholder farmers confront, like resilience, income stability, food security, efficiency in production, and financing availability.
For young Agri-tech innovators, the AYuTe Africa Challenge Uganda Season 3 is providing even more chances this season. Competitors will fight for a piece of the approximately UGX 112 million shilling main prize, which is a substantial increase over prior years' prizes.
The grand awards gala ceremony will be held on September 26, 2024.

Along with the monetary award, students will also receive networking opportunities and mentorship from professionals in the field, which will be of immeasurable assistance in realising their creative concepts and bringing about significant change in the agriculture sector.
Must be between the ages of 18 and 35, a Ugandan, and based in Uganda.
Must unmistakably demonstrate that you, either alone or as a team of two, are the owner of the innovation or concept.
You have to show that you are offering a genuinely novel good or service, not just copying something that is already available in a lot of other markets.
The idea must possess the capability to be translated and expanded into a significant influence for smallholder farmers throughout the nation.
Demonstrate that smallholder farmers are in need of and can afford what you are offering.
