FUNDING: Apply for the Crafting Tomorrow program 2025 for young change-makers in Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya
Applications are officially open for the 2025 Crafting Tomorrow Program, an initiative designed to address the intersection of climate change and pressing socio-economic challenges. The program emphasizes innovative approaches to critical areas such as energy access, food security, disaster preparedness, sanitation, and waste management. By fostering creative solutions, it aims to empower participants to tackle these issues effectively and drive transformative change within their communities.
Over a rigorous 12-week journey, the program equips young leaders, entrepreneurs, and climate advocates with essential knowledge, tools, and skills to make a tangible impact. Participants benefit from an immersive learning experience that covers topics like climate adaptation strategies, sustainable business practices, impactful storytelling, and entrepreneurial development. The experience culminates in a dynamic Pitch Day event, offering attendees the opportunity to present their innovative concepts to potential investors and partners, securing the resources needed to bring their visions to fruition.
The program welcomes applicants between the ages of 16 and 35 who are either citizens or permanent residents of Nigeria, Ghana, or Kenya. A minimum level of secondary education is required, and while prior experience in community engagement, entrepreneurship, or climate-related projects is a plus, it is not mandatory. Ideal candidates should demonstrate a deep commitment to climate resilience, sustainability, and creating social impact, paired with a strong sense of creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit. Applicants should also have a passion for working with underserved populations and be available to fully participate throughout the program’s duration.
