UNESCO is initiating its fifteenth call for submissions to the International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD).

Projects will be chosen for their capacity to promote tangible and enduring progress in the creative industries of developing nations that are parties to the 2005 Convention.

Since 2010, the IFCD has allocated more than US$ 11.5 million to 152 initiatives spanning 71 developing countries.

Public institutions, NGOs from eligible nations, and international NGOs registered in countries that ratified the 2005 Convention are urged to present proposals.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the UNESCO International Fund 2024 entail investing in projects that bring about structural changes by introducing policies and measures affecting the creation, production, distribution, and access to diverse cultural expressions, as well as strengthening human and institutional capacities to support cultural industries in developing countries. Eligible applicants include public authorities and institutions, NGOs, and international NGOs from developing countries that are parties to the 2005 Convention.
