GRANTS : Applications are open for the Llama 3.1 Impact Grants to address Social Challenges

Meta's AI division is now accepting applications from eligible organizations worldwide that have innovative ideas for using Llama 3.1 to tackle social challenges within their communities.

They believe that AI has unparalleled potential compared to other modern technologies to enhance human productivity, creativity, and quality of life, drive economic growth, and advance medical and scientific research.

Open source offers numerous advantages: it ensures broader global access to AI's opportunities and promotes more equitable and safe deployment of technology across society. Therefore, they advocate for making open access to AI a standard practice in the industry.

Meta's AI team is excited to announce the opening of applications for the Llama 3.1 Impact Grants. This initiative is part of a broader effort they've been investing in over the past year to support organizations exploring how Llama 3.1 can be used to tackle social challenges in their communities.
