Applications are now open for the 2025 Allianz x Social Shifters MoveNow Global Social Innovation Challenge. This initiative is designed to uplift youth-led ideas from around the world that reflect the goals of Allianz’s MoveNow program, which focuses on empowering young people and boosting resilience in communities that often lack support.

The challenge is looking for young innovators whose projects fit into one of three thematic areas. The first focuses on improving financial inclusion by equipping underserved groups with practical knowledge, accessible financial tools, and opportunities that help them build long-term economic stability. The second centers on strengthening health and wellbeing by encouraging community engagement, promoting physical activity, and supporting initiatives that foster healthier lifestyles. The third area prioritizes solutions that help communities prepare for and adapt to the social and environmental pressures created by climate change. In every category, projects that originate from or directly benefit underserved populations will receive special attention.

Selected participants will have the chance to secure financial support, with several grants worth $5,000 or $10,000 USD available across all three focus areas. Beyond funding, founders will receive tailored guidance to strengthen their applications, gain access to specialized learning materials, and be paired with an Allianz business mentor if they reach the finalist stage. Everyone who submits an eligible application will also be connected to a year-round network offering additional grants, paid project opportunities, and training through Social Shifters.
