GRANTS: Apply for the Feminist Climate Action Fund for young changemakers in Europe
Applications are open for the Feminist Climate Action Fund – Seedlings Call, inviting young, informal feminist groups to take part in this new round of support. This opportunity is designed to uplift grassroots climate initiatives by showcasing the many ways communities are driving change and strengthening a more diverse, inclusive climate movement.
Through this Seedlings Call, groups can receive €5,000 in flexible funding to implement an activity that contributes to building momentum within the climate justice space. The aim is to encourage creative, community-centred ideas that raise awareness, mobilise people, or build new capacities for climate action. Interested applicants can review the full guidelines in the Call for Proposals to understand the types of projects that are encouraged and the criteria for participation.
This round will provide 50 small grants, distributed across ten participating countries, with five grants allocated per country. Any collective of three or more individuals may apply, and there is no obligation to be formally registered as an organisation. Funded initiatives must take place between April 2026 and February 2027, and may include advocacy efforts, public outreach, training sessions, community engagement, or similar climate-related activities.
Applications officially opened on 24 November 2025, and submissions will be accepted until 26 January 2026. Evaluation of proposals will be carried out throughout February and March.
For this round, applicants must be based in one of the following countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, or Sweden.
