GRANTS: Apply for this Climate Parent Fellowship grants for intergeneral and family-focused climate projects
Our Kids Climate is thrilled to introduce the Climate Parent Fellowship, a program designed to empower key leaders driving parent-led, intergenerational, and family-focused climate initiatives worldwide. They are seeking exceptional individuals who are making a significant impact in one or more of the following areas:
- Building and scaling high-impact organizations that drive national, regional, or global change
- Influencing policymakers through innovative campaigns focused on clean energy, challenging fossil fuel interests, and promoting a just transition
- Developing and implementing large-scale communication strategies that mobilize parents, caregivers, and community members to advocate for bold climate solutions
Successful applicants will receive a grant ranging from $15,000 to $20,000 USD, disbursed in four installments over a 12-month period. Please note that Fellows are responsible for paying applicable taxes and that receiving this stipend may impact eligibility for certain benefits. This funding will support Fellows in their critical work as part of our 12-month Fellowship program.

Additional Information
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Hold a leadership position within a non-profit initiative, organization, or project
- Possess fluency or proficiency in English, demonstrated by:
- Submitting a complete application in English
- Adhering to application form instructions
- Provide a personal statement outlining their contribution to their initiative's work (note: this is not a grant application, and organizational applications are not accepted)
- Offer clear and focused responses to all questions; vague answers or excessive reliance on AI-generated content will result in disqualification
The Fellowship is open to applicants worldwide. To be eligible, the applicant's initiative, project, group, or organization must:
- Focus on intergenerational, parent-led, and/or family-focused climate work
- Engage two or more generations (intergenerational initiatives)
- Be led by parents, caregivers, or grandparents, with a focus on engaging other parents, caregivers, or grandparents (parent-led initiatives)
- Center families in their work, regardless of leadership age (family-focused initiatives)
Please note: In exceptional cases, we may consider supporting a Fellow from an organization that has previously received a Fellowship, but no more than three individuals from the same initiative can participate within a five-year period.
