Are you a community-focused organization or an emerging NGO striving to make a difference? The 2024 StartPoint Grant offers you the chance to expand your reach and enhance your impact. Powered by the African Philanthropy Forum, StartPoint is an initiative dedicated to strengthening Africa’s development ecosystem by connecting credible, locally-led organizations with funding opportunities.

This year, five exceptional organizations will each receive an unrestricted grant of $5,000 to support their transformative work. Eligible organizations must operate in Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, South Africa, or Tanzania, where grassroots efforts are creating meaningful change.

They understand the unique hurdles small organizations face in their mission to transform lives. These grants are specifically designed to empower grassroots initiatives that are deeply rooted in their communities and are creating a lasting impact.

If you’re a registered local NGO or a community-based organization operating in one of the eligible countries, you’re invited to apply. To qualify, simply sign up and create a profile on StartPoint—it’s a straightforward process that takes only a few minutes.
