Youth organisations across West Africa now have an opportunity to secure funding and technical support through the Africa-Europe Youth Academy (AEYA) Call for Projects – Spaces for Youth. The initiative is being implemented by Ghiyada Africa (Togo) in partnership with SESG Future Ready Hub (Ghana) as part of the AEYA programme, which is funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France in consortium with the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS).

The call aims to support youth organisations in creating or strengthening Spaces for Youth—safe, inclusive, and empowering environments where young people can build leadership skills, access support services, collaborate with peers, and grow their initiatives. Eligible youth organisations from seven West African countries, including Ghana, are encouraged to apply for funding to expand their impact within their communities.

Successful applicants will receive a grant of up to €10,000, along with capacity-building training, tailored mentoring, and personalised technical support to help them implement and sustain their projects effectively.

Interested organisations should submit their applications before 7 August 2026 at 11:59 PM GMT. This opportunity is designed for organisations committed to empowering young people and strengthening youth-led development across West Africa.
