 HYBRID JOB OPPORTUNITY : WRAP is hiring a Food  Programme Lead on Water 

About WRAP : WRAP (Waste and Resources Action Programme) is a global environmental NGO driving the transition to a circular economy. The Role: Programme Lead for Water

As Programme Lead for Water, you will be part of WRAP’s leadership team, overseeing and driving our water-related initiatives within the Food Systems Transformation program. You will report to the Head of Food Systems Transformation and collaborate closely with colleagues across strategy development, funding, and program delivery.

**Job Type:** Full-time and part-time
**Location:** Banbury, London, Cardiff, or Belfast (Contractual office base with hybrid working)
**Hybrid Working:** The role allows flexibility to work from home, with occasional in-office collaboration when necessary. We have flexible core hours and do not endorse a culture of presenteeism. During the recruitment process, we'll discuss how to balance your needs with the role’s requirements.

Salary & Benefits: £60-70k, 10% pension, 25 days annual leave + public holidays, 35-hour work week, up to 13 flexi-days, private medical insurance, life assurance, and additional perks.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- **Strategy Development & Delivery:** Leading the design and execution of a high-impact water programme strategy, working with internal teams, government bodies, businesses, and partners to maximize WRAP’s impact and funding potential.
- **Geographic Expansion:** Coordinating and delivering water-focused programmes in multiple regions, ensuring cross-programme knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- **External Engagement:** Representing WRAP at external meetings, events, and workshops, advocating for WRAP’s initiatives and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- **Team Leadership:** Leading and inspiring a diverse team of experts within the water programme, fostering a culture of learning and development to ensure high-quality programme delivery and talent growth.
- **Building Partnerships:** Working with senior leaders to shape WRAP’s system transformation strategies and build strong partnerships with businesses, governments, and funders to meet targets and explore new opportunities for growth.

Eligibility Criteria
We are seeking a dynamic and solutions-focused Programme Lead with a strong background in programme management and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have:

- **Experience in Sustainability Strategy:** Proven ability to develop and implement impactful sustainability strategies, particularly in water management and environmental impact.
- **Collaboration Skills:** Excellent communication and team-building abilities, with a track record of leading high-performing teams and developing others.
- **Leadership Experience:** Demonstrated success in managing programme teams in a multi-stakeholder context, working externally with senior stakeholders, and securing funding.
- **Problem-Solving Ability:** A proactive, solution-oriented approach to overcoming challenges, with the autonomy to lead and innovate.
- **Passion for Circular Living:** A deep commitment to creating scalable, impactful solutions that promote circular economy principles and sustainable food systems.
