INTERNSHIP : Check out the World Vision Kenya Graduate Internship Program (GRIP) FY25 for recent graduates

World Vision Kenya invites recent graduates to apply for the Graduate Internship Program (GRIP) for FY25. The program aims to serve rural and semi-urban areas, running from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025.

World Vision Kenya

World Vision started in 1974 and has grown in Kenya, helping children and communities in 37 out of 47 counties. Our ongoing efforts encompass diverse developmental projects, emergency relief initiatives, and advocacy work, which collectively strive to uplift families and refugee communities throughout Kenya.

We believe that when communities are healthy, children are also well. Our approach helps not only children but also their families and communities.

Kenya has many challenges that affect the well-being of children and most of the population. Climate change has led to the most severe drought in four decades, while El-Nino has affected various regions. Rising prices and unstable commodity costs have greatly impacted the well-being of children and communities. Limited food and water access has also contributed to this impact.

We have assisted numerous children and families, particularly vulnerable girls and boys with disabilities. We provide support without considering their religion, race, ethnicity, or gender. Our programmes are rooted in evidence-based approaches, targeting pivotal areas such as child protection, education, water, sanitation & hygiene (WASH), economic empowerment, and initiatives centred around Child Learning and Household Resilience.

We make sure decision-makers hear the voices of children and communities. These decision-makers have the power to make changes in policies and practices. By doing so, we help children and communities. World Vision and Kenya Police create safe places for children, protecting them throughout the country.

World Vision helps around 119,853 children and their families through our Sponsorship programme. There are 59,753 girls and 60,100 boys. This support is instrumental in bolstering their resilience and enabling them to lead improved and more fulfilling lives
