Description: The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) is offering an exciting internship opportunity in its Urban Planning and Design Lab (Urban Lab) to support sustainable urbanization initiatives. As part of the Planning, Finance & Economy Section, the intern will assist in developing urban planning and design solutions with a focus on climate adaptation, social inclusion, and sustainable development goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and implementation of urban planning and design projects.
• Contribute to the creation of urban design solutions for workshops, training, and seminars aimed at promoting climate resilience and inclusivity in urban spaces.
• Help develop urban design guidelines and methodologies based on the "My Neighbourhood" framework.
• Assist in creating training materials and activities to reinforce urban design principles under the My Neighbourhood framework.
• Aid in the localization of SDGs within urban planning frameworks and policies.
• Support the development of advocacy materials to promote Urban Lab initiatives.
