1.The post of Mail Room Supervisor is open to qualified and eligible candidates, according to the U.S. Mission in Uganda.

Tasks: Manages all unclassified pouch and diplomatic mail operations at the mailroom under the direction of the Diplomatic Technology Office. Three (3) mail clerks are rated and supervised to assist with all mailroom activities. acts as the principal local point of contact for mail handling contractors and airport authorities. distributes and sorts mail, handles incoming diplomatic pouches, and gets diplomatic pouches ready for delivery. In charge of receiving, delivering, and securing all incoming and outgoing DPO mail as well as unclassified diplomatic pouches. keeps up with the necessary documentation. Verifies that all security requirements are fulfilled for the appropriate handling and storage of DPM certified, registered, and responsible mail, as well as pouch material.provide advice to any office that has been given permission to use pouch and DPO services. keeps track of and is responsible for all money sent to the mailroom. maintains the accuracy of all BPA contracts and keeps track of and upgrades the mailroom Franking machines needed for official postage.

Credentials and Assessments

EDUCATION: Completing secondary school successfully.

Conditions:

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of two years of experience working in internal or external customer service, receiving mail, solving problems, and performing other relevant clerical jobs is needed. Additionally, one year of experience supervising others or leading a team is needed.

2. USAID/Uganda is looking for bids from competent Ugandans to work as Supervisory Project Management Specialists (Family Health) under contract, providing personal services.

Salary Range: FSN-12 equivalent of UGX 224,256,357 to 331,145,253 annually. Offers must be made in the manner specified in Section IV of the solicitation document and must contain the following:

3.The U.S. mission in Kampala extends an invitation to reputable suppliers to submit quotes for the supply and installation of a backup solar array system, as detailed below.

A minimum 75KW peak capacity for the solar array.
rooftop installation.

60KW hybrid inverter capability.
The inverter should be able to connect to a network, log in, configure, and keep an eye on its parameters.
Bank capacity of lithium batteries: 74 KWh.
Lithium batteries should allow users to log in and adjust the parameters of the batteries.

delivery of supplies to Kalisizo, setup, system testing, and commissioning.

Delivery Time and Fees: Delivery must occur no later than three months from the date of purchase order receipt.
