Videos for Change is a global network of young creators producing impactful, short-form videos on topics that matter most to them. At the core of our mission is social change, putting young voices at the forefront. One concept. One video. One minute at a time.

WE GO DEEP. Videos for Change is a comprehensive learning journey that cultivates skills like creativity, critical thinking, leadership, teamwork, and storytelling. Through this process, young people develop confidence, creativity, and a strong sense of agency. Our custom-built competition platform provides an end-to-end workflow with all necessary resources for a smooth and engaging experience.

WE GO BIG. Since 2015, thousands of young people have inspired social action, sharing their unique cultural perspectives. We’re dedicated to amplifying these voices globally.

Global Partnerships
Videos for Change collaborates with organizations and networks worldwide, expanding opportunities for young people to express their views through original, short-form video content. Our partners, including educators, facilitate in-school Videos for Change challenges, while organizations can host national competitions.

Eligible entries are promoted globally and automatically entered into other competitions. Through alliances with educators, educational groups, and international networks—from individual schools and nonprofits to large networks—we support local implementation of Videos for Change around the world.

Our Story
Videos for Change was established in 2015 by High Resolves, a leader in citizenship and leadership education. Roya Baghai, Co-Founder of High Resolves and Founder of Videos for Change, recognized an opportunity to create a sustainable, scalable initiative that empowers young voices, supports educators, and drives social impact. Educators around the globe seek real-world, project-based learning that fosters youth expression and community involvement, while helping students develop collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking skills.

Roya envisioned Videos for Change as a platform to uplift youth voices through short-form video storytelling on social issues they’re passionate about. Her vision integrates three elements: an engaging learning experience that builds essential skills, a user-friendly competition platform that scales the process and connects to a global community, and a network of supporters who amplify young voices for a more inclusive, safer, and sustainable world.
