Join UNESCO as a Communications Intern in Paris!

UNESCO is offering an exciting opportunity for a talented and creative individual to join its Youth, Literacy and Skills Development (YLS) team as a Communications Intern. If you’re enthusiastic about storytelling, education, and the power of digital media to drive change, this internship could be your next big step.

The internship will run for a period of six months and will be based at UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris, starting in September 2025. Proficiency in English is essential, while knowledge of French or Spanish would be considered an asset. Applicants must already possess a valid visa or work permit that allows them to live and work in France.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with an academic or professional background in communications, public relations, media, or related areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of writing, editing, and proofreading, and a meticulous eye for detail. Experience using digital tools such as Canva, the Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office applications is highly desirable.

UNESCO is looking for a motivated and well-organized team member who is proactive, collaborative, and able to juggle multiple responsibilities. Time management and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure are also key qualities for success in this role.
