The Audi Environmental Foundation actively supports research in new technologies and scientific methods for a sustainable future, aiming to contribute to environmental protection and promote sustainable behavior. Established in 2009 by AUDI AG, it focuses on environmentally compatible technologies, environmental education, and protecting the necessities of life for humans, animals, and plants. With challenges like scarce resources, environmental destruction, climate change, and population growth, the foundation collaborates with One Young World to provide scholarships for 15 young leaders attending the 2024 One Young World Summit in Montreal, Canada. The scholarship targets individuals addressing the climate crisis through innovative technologies, climate education, or ecosystem preservation. Scholars receive access to the summit, accommodation, participation in pre-event activities, travel expenses, catering, and transportation. The criteria include being aged 18–30, a commitment to positive change, leadership capacity, understanding of global issues, and a track record of impactful solutions in environmental challenges.
