Applications are open for the ALDA Youth-ID Training of Trainers (ToT) Programme 2026, an opportunity for experienced youth workers and facilitators to participate in a two-day training programme in Strasbourg, France.
The programme, organised by ALDA and the Youth-ID project consortium, will bring together 18 youth workers from across Europe. The selected facilitator will lead interactive learning activities focused on strengthening youth participation, inclusion, advocacy and democratic engagement.
About the Youth-ID Project
Youth-ID is a European Erasmus+ project focused on empowering young people, particularly those from marginalised and underrepresented backgrounds, to participate actively in their communities and decision-making processes.
The project supports youth workers with practical tools, participatory approaches, and educational methods that can help young people engage in community planning, advocacy, and democratic participation.
Role: Youth-ID Trainer and Facilitator
The selected individual will facilitate a two-day Training of Trainers session for 18 youth workers representing different European countries.
The training content and educational materials will already have been prepared by the project consortium. The facilitator will therefore focus primarily on delivering interactive and participatory activities following the theoretical sessions.
Key Responsibilities
The facilitator will be expected to:
- Lead icebreakers, experiential learning activities, and group discussions.
- Create an inclusive and participatory learning environment.
- Encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and peer-to-peer learning.
- Adapt facilitation methods to the needs of participants while following the programme objectives.
- Promote active participation, reflection, and knowledge sharing.
- Support a positive and engaging learning experience for the international group.

About Youth-ID
