About the Programme

Internship Conditions

Duration: Typically 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extending up to 12 months for sponsored placements.

Start Date: Internships begin on the first working day of the month.
Participation in the internship does not imply future employment; however, former interns may apply for open positions once their contract ends, provided they meet standard eligibility criteria.

Additional Information
- Other Costs: Travel, visas, accommodation, insurance, and personal expenses must be covered by the intern. UNIDO provides official documentation to support visa applications.
- Travel: Interns are not permitted to travel on behalf of UNIDO during their assignment.
- They are enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree;
- They are currently studying at the Master’s level or higher;
- They have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within the past 12 months.
Candidates must also be fluent in the working language used at their duty station. Only students or graduates from UNIDO Member States can be accepted into the programme.
