Paid Internship : Check out this internship opportunity at Federation of Young European Greens (FYEG) and Greens/EFA Group ( Students & Recent graduates )

The Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament and the Federation of Young European Greens (FYEG) are seeking an intern to help with their project and non-formal education activity. It's a full-time, paid internship.

A political group in the European Parliament, the Greens/EFA Group is composed of Green, Pirate, and Independent MEPs (Members of the European Parliament) in addition to MEPs from parties that support stateless countries and underrepresented minorities. Building a society that upholds basic human rights and environmental justice is its goal. For more, visit www.greens-efa.eu. Green youth groups, political organisations, and young green activists from across Europe are brought together by the vibrant, welcoming association known as FYEG. It provides a forum for Young Green activists to share ideas and information while advocating and fighting for political change.

Internship

The Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament and the FYEG office split the internship and working hours equally. The tasks will be as follows: 1) helping an employee of the Greens/EFA group in the European Parliament; 2) helping the FYEG Office; and 3) communicating with the FYEG office and the Greens/EFA group.

The project manager of FYEG and a member of the Group personnel will oversee the intern's work together. FYEG's responsibilities include planning and carrying out the organization's events and initiatives, namely the joint study session on the green economy with FYEG's partners and the third activity of the 2024 annual work plan, which is centred on effective youth activism and cross-border political participation. Additionally, they will take part in the organising and administrative tasks related to the one-year policy-making training in 2025.

They will obtain a great deal of knowledge on the subjects of the aforementioned events in addition to learning how to support volunteer teams, plan international meetings and events, and handle logistics. The Greens/EFA Group will operate under the Greens & Social Economy cluster, primarily assisting the advisers of the committees on Employment and Social Affairs (EMPL) and Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON).

Don't miss out on the application deadline which is Sunday 23 June 2024 at 23:59 CET.
