Remote Job :Check out this exciting Job Opportunity at MSF-Switzerland

Applications are open for the role of an Emergency Medical Coordinator at MSF-Switzerland.

In order to carry out its goal of aiding victims of war, disease outbreaks, or natural catastrophes, MSF-Switzerland established an emergency pool. This pool of experienced professionals is equipped to assess a situation, launch programmes, and oversee their implementation. The emergency coordinator in the field and the emergency cell at the headquarters in Geneva are the people to whom the post of emergency medical coordinator (medical or para-medical) reports.

It is required of the candidate to: 1) work in all Emergency Desk-specified scenarios; and 2) be adaptable enough to function in a variety of roles, such as Project Medical Referent, MAM, and Project Coordinator, if verified. 3) Work in emergency situations alongside normal cells and, if necessary, cover voids in regular missions or projects.

A member of the core group of medicals, paramedicals, and logisticians in nations with urgent emergency desk activities, the emergency medical coordinator is ready within 48 hours for quick and efficient actions.

Implementing and taking part in exploratory missions, developing and adjusting emergency intervention plans, overseeing essential resources, organising the field medical personnel, and generating particular reports are all under the purview of the Emergency Medical Coordinator. They can also take part in international meetings, MSF trainings, and the coordination of operations under the supervision of a Head of Mission.

The application deadline is on a rolling basis.
