The Youth Climate Justice Fund (YCJF) is actively searching for a skilled and dedicated Communication Manager to join our global team. As the Communication Manager, you will play a vital role in advancing YCJF's mission and vision to diverse stakeholders, including funders, grantees, and the wider public. This is a remote, part-time position with flexible hours, requiring a minimum commitment of 3 days per week. The contract, facilitated by our Fiscal Sponsor in the United States, includes vacation and health compensation.

About YCJF:
The Youth Climate Justice Fund supports youth climate justice movements through trust-based funding, resources, and youth-to-youth capacity development. Launched publicly during New York Climate Week 2023, YCJF received over 1,800 applications worldwide during its first grantmaking call in September 2023. In 2023, we provided initial support of $500,000 to 40 groups working on climate justice.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of YCJF's Communication Strategy.
- Coordinate communication consultants, including website designers and illustrators.
- Manage YCJF's website, newsletter, and LinkedIn platforms, ensuring timely updates and strategic content.
- Support fundraising efforts through newsletters and digitally friendly materials for funders.
- Lead the development of the 'Stories Hub,' a webpage sharing grantee partners' stories.
- Cultivate relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers for media coverage.

Profile:
Experience:
- Over 5 years of communication specialist experience.
- Commitment to climate justice principles.
- Experience with youth climate justice movements is a plus.
- Proficiency in communication, social media, and newsletter management.
Skills:
