Children and young people are particularly vulnerable to the effects of climate change due to their limited ability to adapt and lack of decision-making power.

They will face significant climate challenges throughout their lives. This training, organized by the Centre for Green Growth in collaboration with the Global Centre for Adaptation and Care International’s "Toolkit for Youth on Adaptation & Leadership," aims to address these issues.

The program seeks to empower youth with essential skills and knowledge to actively participate in climate adaptation efforts, policy development, and advocacy, with a special focus on supporting vulnerable groups in society.

The training will explore various aspects of climate adaptation and provide opportunities to develop solutions for local communities and at-risk populations.

This in-person training will take place in Accra, Ghana, in February 2025.
