TEACH 4 SDGs: Applications for Cohort 3 of the Teach 4 SDGs program are now open
AIIDEV Africa has launched Cohort 3 of the Teach4SDGs program, aiming to promote sustainable development and educate primary and secondary school teachers across Sub-Saharan African countries about the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This 12-week intensive training includes advanced workshops, lectures, readings, and projects covering SDGs, Education for Sustainable Development, Climate Change, and more. The goal is to equip teachers with the knowledge and skills to integrate SDGs into their curriculum, fostering awareness and action. The program, conducted virtually in English, offers opportunities for recognition, certification, networking, mentorship, and career enhancement to participants. Eligible teachers can apply before the deadline on January 31, 2024.

Additional Information

Submit your application form by the deadline of January 31, 2024, at 10:00 PM WAT.
1. The program is open to Primary and Secondary School Teachers in both Public and Private Schools across Sub-Saharan African countries.
2. Applicants should be able to dedicate a minimum of 4 hours on 2 days per week throughout the training, conducted exclusively in English.
3. Age eligibility is between 20 and 45 years.
4. Participants must be available for virtual training and committed to conducting SDGs Activation in their schools.
5. Interest in serving as a development and transformation agent, actively promoting student learning about the SDGs.
6. Familiarity with the SDGs 2030 is not a prerequisite for applicants.
