UPTO 10,000 USD GRANT: Apply for the Futuremakers Women in Tech (WiT) Uganda Program 2025 for young Ugandan women changemakers

Applications are open for the Futuremakers Women in Tech Uganda initiative—a groundbreaking effort to uplift women-led technology ventures. Spearheaded by the Standard Chartered Foundation in collaboration with Standard Chartered Bank, Village Capital, and The Innovation Village, and delivered through Future Lab, this program places women innovators at the vanguard of Uganda’s digital transformation. By providing comprehensive business coaching, mentorship from seasoned experts, and access to seed funding, it cultivates a flourishing network of female entrepreneurs who drive inclusion, job creation, and community resilience.

This accelerator goes beyond conventional support by honing participants’ entrepreneurial skills, financial savvy, and leadership capabilities. Cohorts gain hands-on training in investment preparation, enriched by tailored technical guidance and strategic market linkage services. Top performers are awarded catalytic grants of up to $10,000 to accelerate growth, while all members benefit from an ongoing Community of Practice—a vibrant forum for peer exchange, continuous mentorship, and collaborative problem-solving.

Designed for women-led micro-enterprises registered and operating in Uganda, applicants should have a functioning MVP or evidence of market traction, employ fewer than ten people, and generate under $100,000 in annual revenue. Ventures must leverage digital innovation to tackle real-world challenges and align with at least one Sustainable Development Goal—whether it’s job creation, poverty alleviation, gender equality, climate resilience, or essential service delivery. Join this visionary community and refine your business model to attract investors, secure funding, and shape Africa’s future digital economy.
