UPTO 25k USD IN GRANTS: Redford Centre’s Grant Program 2024 is now open for applications from climate film makers!
The Redford Center is currently accepting applications for its 2024 Grants Program.
They're offering $25,000 in funding for environmental films. You must be 18 or older to apply, and either the director or producer can submit the application. Filmmakers from any part of the world can apply, but having previous filmmaking experience is recommended. Successful applicants will need to take part in the center's professional development activities.
As for the projects, they're looking for nonfiction feature films or docuseries at any stage of development or production, except those that are already fully edited. The films must focus on environmental issues and have a clear goal for making an impact. They encourage stories that address a wide range of environmental concerns and offer fresh perspectives. Additionally, they aim to support projects that promote diversity and inclusivity in the environmental movement.
If selected, grantees will receive $25,000 in the first year, with the possibility of receiving additional funding in the second year. They'll also be invited to attend a grants summit in 2025, where they can participate in learning sessions and network with industry professionals. Furthermore, grantees will receive promotional support and strategic advice from The Redford Center. They may also have the opportunity to join the center's fiscal sponsorship program at a discounted rate.
