Applications are open for Individuals passionate about climate action and community engagement to contribute to the success of Munich Climate Week by joining its volunteer network. Organizers are currently seeking dedicated volunteers to support preparations for the inaugural edition of the event through a variety of year-round and event-based roles.

Munich Climate Week aims to bring together citizens, organizations, businesses, and climate advocates to accelerate local climate solutions and foster collaboration across sectors. Volunteers will play an important role in helping shape and deliver the initiative.

About the Opportunity

Volunteers can participate in two ways:

• Join one of the core organizing teams supporting preparations throughout the year.
• Volunteer during Munich Climate Week itself by assisting with event delivery and on-site coordination.

Please note that all positions are voluntary and unpaid. Applicants must be based in Munich, Germany, as the roles require local participation.

Core Team Volunteer Roles

Core team members contribute to planning and coordination activities leading up to the event. Depending on the role, volunteers can expect to dedicate approximately 2–10 hours per week until October.

These roles are ideal for individuals who want to support activities during the week while gaining firsthand experience in climate-focused events.
