Applications are now accepted for the Working to Advance African Women Foundation's Scholarship Program, which supports young African women pursuing undergraduate degrees in STEM fields.

With the help of the WAAW Foundation Scholarship, female African college students can continue their education in STEM-related fields. With this scholarship, you can concentrate on reaching your academic objectives while volunteering in your community and encouraging women to pursue careers in STEM through the university's STEM Outreach Chapter.

Scholars with a need, enthusiasm, and determination to improve their community are what the Foundation is searching for. The $500 WAAW Foundation scholarship is given out only once.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria include:

- Female students of African descent residing and studying in Africa.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
- Pursuing STEM-related courses at a university or college in Africa.
- Must be a first or second-year student, or a third-year student in a five-year degree program.
- Must demonstrate financial need.
- Strong academic performance.
- Proven experience in leadership, volunteering, and community service.
- Must be under 32 years of age.
