Applications are now open for the Global Climate Fellowship 2026, a competitive international programme designed to support entrepreneurs building for-profit solutions to climate adaptation and resilience challenges.
Hosted by Halcyon, the fellowship brings together founders from around the world who are developing scalable innovations in areas such as renewable energy, climate-smart agriculture, resilient infrastructure, water security, early-warning systems, and other climate-focused sectors.
This is a hybrid accelerator-style fellowship, combining virtual programming with in-person residencies in Washington, DC and Los Angeles, California.
About the Fellowship
The Global Climate Fellowship supports early-stage climate ventures that already have a working product and are ready to scale. Selected founders take part in an intensive programme focused on strengthening product-market fit, leadership capacity, and capital strategy, while gaining access to expert mentorship and a global founder network.
The programme runs from April to September 2026, beginning with a virtual kickoff and continuing through a mix of online sessions and in-person residencies.

- Be the founder, CEO, or primary decision-maker of a for-profit startup
- Operate a venture focused on climate adaptation or resilience
- Have a working MVP, with early users, pilots, letters of intent, or revenue
- Be at least 21 years old at the start of the programme
- Be fluent in English
- Commit fully to both virtual and in-person programme activities
- The venture should contribute to one or more UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Teams may include up to one co-founder
