With funding of USD 25,000 : Apply for the Dream Climate Tech Launchpad Program 2024

Launched in collaboration with Dream.Org and Salesforce, the Dream Climate Tech Launchpad programme is an initiative by The Village Capital to assist Black and Latinx entrepreneurs who are developing applications to promote environmental justice.

The second version of Dream Climate Tech Launchpad 2024, developed in collaboration with Dream.org and Salesforce, is an investment-readiness, milestone-based programme with a focus on climate change. The programme this year will help climate-tech firms led by Black and Latinx people who are developing solutions for energy, the built environment, electronic transportation, and infrastructure.

In addition to having a localised impact on communities of colour that have historically been left out of the clean energy transition, these solutions will aid in the decarbonisation of the global economy.

With the aim of supporting growth and being ready for the next round of funding, the programme is meant to assist businesses in identifying early milestones (if applicable). To put it briefly, they offer a focused, award-winning curriculum and a wealth of connections through virtual and in-person seminars, readying firms for expansion.

Village Capital is looking for ten Black or Latinx-led companies that are focused on infrastructure, energy, and electric vehicles.

The accessibility of solar energy should be improved, buildings should become carbon neutral, and affordable access to electric vehicles should be encouraged. Agrivoltaics, thermal storage, community solar, solar financing, and the integration of renewable energy sources are a few examples.

Don't miss out on the application deadline which is 30th April 2024.
