Empowering young people to shape climate policies and negotiations is crucial in today's world. The Climate Reality Project India & South Asia is joining forces with like-minded partners to nurture the next generation of climate champions. Through the 'Youth 4 COP' initiative, we aim to equip young minds with essential skills, enabling them to contribute to a sustainable future for all.

Today's youth are the guardians of our planet, holding the power to drive meaningful change. Our program seeks to provide young participants with a deeper understanding of international climate negotiations and deliberations. They will learn to articulate their ideas, concerns, and solutions effectively, ensuring their voices are heard on the global stage.

This pioneering initiative aims to cultivate leadership skills among youth participants, empowering them to drive change through capacity-building workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and networking opportunities.

Key objectives:

- Develop negotiation and leadership skills through expert lectures, workshops, and simulations, fostering a more significant global impact.
- Bridge the gap between the Global North and South through shared experiences, collaboration, and projects focused on equity, just transition, and on-ground climate action in diverse geographic regions.
- Equip participants to report on COP negotiations and climate issues in the media, amplifying their voices and perspectives.
