beVisioneers: The Mercedes-Benz Fellowship
Launched in 2023 by The DO School Fellowships and funded by Mercedes-Benz, beVisioneers is a global initiative aimed at empowering young people to implement environmental projects for a sustainable future. In its inaugural year, the fellowship supported over 100 participants, expanded to 500 in 2024, and is set to include 1,000 young eco-entrepreneurs from Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, and South America for the 2025 cohort.
This fellowship is open to individuals from all backgrounds, providing the training, mentorship, and resources needed to bring impactful, eco-friendly projects to life.
As a Fellow, you'll embark on a multi-year journey, beginning with a fully-funded, 12-month intensive program that equips you with the skills, resources, and connections necessary to realize your eco-innovation idea. This includes award-winning training through online modules, local community-based gatherings, a Regional Summit, regular access to venture coaches, one-on-one mentoring, and expert and peer support. At the end of the first year, you can apply for project scholarships to further develop your initiative.
In years 2 and 3, the fellowship provides tailored support based on the progress of your project. If your project reaches an advanced stage by year 2, you can join the Pioneer Launchpad for greater venture independence. If still refining your project, you’ll have access to additional learning, leadership development, and networking opportunities. By the end of the second year, advanced Fellows can apply for further scholarships and join the Pioneer Launchpad, while those who have already completed it can explore new opportunities to continue advancing their projects and environmental leadership.

Additional Information
- **Age:** Be between 16 and 28 years old (only those born between October 14, 2008, and January 13, 1996, are eligible).
- **Language Proficiency:** Have a strong command of English, as all program activities are conducted in English.
- **Environmental Focus:** Have identified a specific environmental issue you want to address through concrete actions.
- **Residency:** Reside in one of the following countries: Albania, Andorra, Åland Islands, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Kenya, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Netherlands, Norway, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Rwanda, San Marino, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Svalbard and Jan Mayen, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States, or Zimbabwe.
