FUNDING : Apply for the MasterCard BRIDGE-In Agriculture (BIA)

BRIDGE-In Agriculture is committed to providing accessible and affordable capital and technical assistance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within Ghana's agricultural and related industries. Our mission emphasizes empowering youth and women by equipping them with essential skills, enabling them not only to find employment but to thrive in their careers.

About the Program

The *Building Resilience and Investing in the Development and Growth of Entrepreneurs in Agriculture* (BRIDGE-in Agriculture or BIA) is a five-year initiative by the Mastercard Foundation focused on providing affordable capital and technical support to SMEs in Ghana’s agriculture and related sectors. Through targeted training, the program also empowers young people and women with essential skills for dignified and meaningful employment.

To alleviate financial constraints for young entrepreneurs, BRIDGE-in Agriculture partners with commercial banks to offer loans to agribusinesses at single-digit interest rates. This support enables business expansion, job creation, and contributes to poverty reduction among youth and women in Ghana.

About the Loan Program

BRIDGE-in Agriculture collaborates with commercial banks to provide affordable, accessible loans tailored for agribusinesses in Ghana. This initiative addresses barriers that SMEs in agriculture and related sectors often face in obtaining financing.

Eligible businesses include SMEs involved in primary agriculture, agro-processing, agricultural input supply, agri-technology, and other areas within the agricultural value chain, such as restaurants and agricultural research and development organizations.
