Overview of the Position
You will assist the Regional Resource Mobilisation Adviser and the Regional Adviser for Communication and Advocacy in your role as a UNAIDS Resource Mobilisation & Communication Intern. This internship provides practical experience in communication and advocacy, resource mobilisation, and private sector engagement.

The UNAIDS Internship Programme promotes gender balance and seeks to include interns from a broad range of geographic and socioeconomic backgrounds.

UNAIDS may provide a stipend to help cover living expenses for interns who are not already receiving financial support.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for internships at UNAIDS must either be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate program at an accredited institution, or have completed their studies and obtained a degree within the past year. If recently graduated, candidates must begin the internship within 12 months of graduation.

**Contractual Terms and Conditions:**

- Able to communicate ideas effectively in both individual and group settings, producing clear written reports and correspondence.
- Skilled in applying knowledge and abilities to the role, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm, strong organizational skills, and consistently meets high standards aligned with objectives.
- Shows a service-oriented mindset with a focus on innovation and finding ways to improve results.
- Takes responsibility for assigned tasks, works productively, fulfills commitments, and uses resources wisely.

**Additional Information:**
- Candidates must be at least 20 years old at the time of application and have proficiency (oral and written) in at least one of WHO/UNAIDS official languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, or Spanish) used in the internship office.
- Candidates with immediate family members working at the UNAIDS Secretariat (such as parents, siblings, or children) are ineligible. UNAIDS also cannot accept candidates who have previously completed a UNAIDS internship.
