The 2025 African Development Bank (AfDB) Internship Program is now accepting applications.The African Development Bank, which was founded in 1964, is the leading pan-African development organisation that fosters social and economic advancement throughout the continent.
There are 81 member states, 54 of which are regional member countries in Africa. The Bank is able to fulfil the Ten-Year Strategy and the High Fives thanks to the internship program, which is a component of a larger Talent Management Framework. Fields of Study Required for the Internship:
Interns should be selected from fields relevant to the Bank's Job Families, including Agriculture, Human Capital, Engineering, Investment, Operations Management & Programming, Sustainability, Procurement, Delivery & Performance Monitoring, Risk Management, Finance, Capacity Development, Governance, Natural Resource and Knowledge Management, Economics, Statistics and Data Management, Human Resources Management, Information Technology, Real Estate Management and Services, Translation and Interpretation, Communication, Legal, Corporate Governance & Advisory Roles, or any other field the Bank considers pertinent to its work.
Priority will be given to students involved in projects directly aligned with the Bank's mission.

The 2025 Internship Program's first session will start in January 2025.

Additional Information
must be no older than thirty (30) years old at the start of the internship program and have reached the age of majority in their country of nationality or origin.
be presently enrolled in a master's degree program in an accredited university, whether it be public or private.
After earning such a degree, the individual has one (1) year to apply for an internship.
be citizens of the African Development Bank's member nations.
Present a copy of the aforementioned degree or a letter from their school attesting to their enrolment. Candidates must speak English or French, the two working languages of the Banks, with ease.
Proficiency in the Bank's common software programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, is required; familiarity with SAP is preferred.
