Organizations of all types and stages, whether for-profit or nonprofit, from any part of the world, are eligible to submit proposals for the Wilkes Climate Launch Prize. This includes companies at seed, pre-seed, venture-funded, and publicly traded stages, as well as nonprofits.

**Evaluation Criteria**
The following are key factors for evaluation:

**Scalable Impact:**
- How many greenhouse gases (MT CO2-equivalent) could be avoided or removed annually in the near term (e.g., 2025-2027) and medium term (e.g., around 2030)?
- What is the potential for scaling the solution from 2030 to 2050?
- How will the Prize facilitate transformative change in the sector?
- What is the expected permanence of these emissions reductions or removals, and how confident are you in these projections?

**Feasibility:**
- Are there existing demonstrations of the solution’s feasibility? At what stage are they, and where have they been implemented?
- What is the current cost per MT CO2-equivalent, and what are the expected costs by 2030?
- Why is your team the right fit to succeed in implementing this solution?
- What are the key challenges, and how will you address barriers, constraints, risks, or trade-offs involved in scaling the solution?

**Co-benefits:**
- Will the proposed solution deliver additional benefits to communities, economies, or ecosystems?
- Are there potential negative impacts (e.g., on communities, economies, or ecosystems), and what measures will be taken to mitigate them?
