About the CIF Youth Fellowship

Launched in 2023, the CIF Youth Fellowship is a one-year career development initiative that immerses young professionals directly into CIF-financed climate projects in their home country. Fellows will engage with multilateral development banks (MDBs) such as the African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Inter-American Development Bank, and the World Bank Group, contributing to climate action initiatives in areas like clean energy, climate resilience, nature-based solutions, and social inclusion.

What You’ll Gain

Program Details

• Duration: One-year program starting March 1, 2025, to March 1, 2026, with flexible working hours ranging from 16 to 40 hours per week.
• Stipend: A tailored stipend based on the cost of living in your country.
• Training & Support: Gain specialized training and professional development sessions to build your skills in climate finance and development finance.
• Location: Fellows will work on-site with their partner MDB in their home country.
