FULLY FUNDED: Apply for the Oxford University’s Summer Sustainability, Climate and Environmental Education e-course 2025
The Oxford Smith School invites applications for its 2025 online summer program, a transformative initiative dedicated to low-carbon development and sustainability. Running from January 13 to January 24, this course offers a fully funded opportunity for graduate students and early-career professionals under 30 who are either from or based in the Global South. Participants will explore sustainability themes and collaborate to design policy recommendations that address global environmental challenges. These proposals will be published at the end of the program to amplify participants’ voices on the international stage.
The program is structured around interactive webinars, fostering connections between attendees, experienced Oxford faculty, and facilitators currently pursuing postgraduate studies at Oxford. Sessions will take place from July 7 to July 18, 2025, with two daily blocks: 11:00 AM–1:00 PM and 2:00 PM–4:00 PM (BST). Given the intensive nature of the program, participants must commit to attending all sessions.
A total of 50 places are available, fully sponsored through generous funding. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to policy innovation, an interest in addressing sustainability issues, and relevant skills to actively contribute to the program. Preference will be given to individuals with experience or aspirations in the public or nonprofit sectors.
